Division I Field Hockey 22 Hours Later...It took almost a full day to complete the final game in the D-I Tournament quarterfinals, with Sunday's Michigan State vs. Iowa showdown suspended due to weather, but when the Hawkeyes prevailed, 1-0, on Monday, it cemented a semifinal field composed of the top four seeds in the tourney.
Division I W. Volleyball D-II Field Announced!The NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Committee has selected the 64 teams that will be participating in the 2008 NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Championship. Defending champions Concordia-St. Paul (above) will meet Regis (Colo.) in opening round action.
Division II Field Hockey Full BloomThe greatest dynasty in D-II field hockey added another chapter to its already unparalelled history on Sunday. After starting the year at No. 1, Bloomsburg hammered UMass-Lowell, 6-2, in Sunday's D-II championship game to win the first national title of Fall 2008 and the Huskies' third straight.
Division II M. Soccer Spartan LawNo. 11 Tampa defeated No. 1 Lynn in Sunday's NCAA South Region final by a score of 3-2. The win advances the Spartans to the NCAA II quarterfinals next weekend where they will look to continue their run at a national title.
